A venture begun by JoongAng Ilbo¡¯s in-house real estate reporters, joinsland was established in August of 2000 as a comprehensive real estate information venture company. Featuring the best of quality content and run by real estate reporters who select the ¡°hot¡± news and provide expert guidance, this distinctive and complete real estate portal attracts Korea¡¯s businesspeople. Developing a business model based on a new paradigm, it incorporates a real estate development service that combines online and offline resources, development consulting services, remodeling consulting services and a seller¡¯s mall. JoongAng m&b

JoongAng m&b first began over 30 years ago with the inaugural issue which coincided with JoongAng Ilbo¡¯s own first print. In March 1997, JoongAng m&b legally established itself as a subsidiary of JoongAng Ilbo. Hearst JoongAng

In a joint partnership with the Hearst Magazine International, JoongAng m&b launched Cosmopolitan Korea, the Korean language version of Cosmopolitan International, the world¡¯s most circulated women¡¯s magazine. This is the first of such U.S.-Korean collaborations to publish a magazine in Korea. Targeting single women, 18-34 years old, Cosmopolitan Korea is a women¡¯s lifestyle magazine that freely discusses issues of interest for young women including fashion, beauty, sex, love and work.

JoongAng Ilbo Eduline is a subsidiary established to social and continuing education courses. JoongAng Cultural Center is a future-oriented lifetime education institution that offers over 300 classes on culture, self-improvement and hobbies, along with a state-of-the-art fitness center. Through a partnership with Kaplan, Inc. of the U.S., the Kaplan Center offers various language classes and assistance in helping students to study abroad. JoongAng Culture Media

JoongAng Ilbo Culture Media is a subsidiary of JoongAng Ilbo. The JoongAng Ilbo Seoul Half Marathon was first held in September of 1999 and was expanded to include a full course marathon (42.195 km) in 2002, whereby bringing it up to the international standards and establishing itself as the JoongAng Seoul Marathon. The U.S. newspaper includes the U.S. Edition, Korea Edition, Sports, Daily Section, Classified Ads and 5 other sections, totaling over 100 pages per copy.
